Directions
Road maps may not show the new by-pass of our section of Chester Road called Bridgewater Way. You now have to take a decision to turn on to Chester Road.
From Manchester and Mancunian Way
Get on to the roundabout where the A57(M) Mancunian Way crosses under the south end of Deansgate/Chester Road (A56). Take the Chorlton Road exit from the roundabout. Then take first right on to City Road. Continue to the bottom of City Road, at the traffic lights go straight across on to Empress St. Take first right and the entrance to Empress Business Centre is then on your right.
From Stretford and south
Use Talbot Road then keep left at junction with Stretford Road just past Trafford Bar Metrolink. Turn left in to Empress St at the traffic lights after Parkers Garden Centre.
Trains, Buses and Trams
We are within walking distance ( a couple of bus stops) of Trafford Bar Metrolink (tram) station. This is on the Altrincham line from Piccadilly or Victoria Station.
The most frequent buses to Empress Business Centre from Piccadilly Gardens are the 256 (Flixton Bus) and the 263 (Altrincham Bus). You must alight at the stop ‘City Road/Chester Road’ and Empress Business Centre is a two-minute walk away. There are also buses that run less frequently along Chester Road (84) and stopping just outside the Empress Business Centre.
Further information regarding public transport to and from Empress business centre can be found on the Greater Manchester Public Transport Authority website, which has a post code to post code journey planner detailing where to get off the bus, time tables and provides maps of the journey. Their website is www.gmpte.com
Pedestrians enter the complex from Chester Road near the junction with Empress St.
Cars enter the complex from Hadfield St.
