The Generation Project Do you live in Beswick, Bradford, Clayton or Openshaw and need information, advice or advocacy? Are you aged 55 or older or are you a carer for someone over 55? Would you like to know more about services available for over 55's? Would you like help to get your views heard? Would you like to take part in social activities for older people in this area? The Generation Project is an information and advocacy service, working with and for older people in East Manchester. Our services are free, confidential, impartial and open to anyone aged 55 and over and/or their carers.
The project focuses on providing people with information about services that can help meet their housing needs along with issues concerning general health and well being.
Volunteering for the Befriending Services
We send out a quarterly newsletter with lots of information, articles and details about current local events. If you wish to be included on our mailing list (you can have a paper copy sent to you or an electronic copy e-mailed to you) or you know someone who you think would be interested then please call the Generation Project office on 0161 202 2522.
